At the 2023 Annual Conference of the (AfRES) in Nairobi, Kenya, the IREBS Foundation for African Real Estate Research was awarded the Corporate Leadership Award of AfRES for its diverse activities.
The award, which was presented for the first time ever, acknowledges the longstanding operation and engagement of the foundation in promoting young researchers and universities on the African continent.
The award was accepted by Prof Dr Karl-Werner Schulte HonRICS and Prof Dr Jonas Hahn on-site, who also contributed to the conference program with speeches and presentations. In addition, Regensburg’s MScRE student Anna-Sophia Ressler presented the results of her Master thesis on Affordable Housing in Namibia during the conference.
