Three Award Categories
These awards are handed to researchers, whose papers have been presented at AfRES conferences. Best papers should comply with aspects of quality, profoundness, innovation and relevance. The Best Paper Awards contain prize money of EUR 500 and a certificate. In the past there have been two award categories: Real Estate Investment and Sustainable Real Estate. To honour an excellent researcher and a close friend of AfRES, who passed away in August 2014, the IREBS Foundation for African Real Estate Research has introduced the Dr. Olawande Oni Memorial Prize for the best paper on Real Estate Valuation
