Who can apply

These awards are awarded to researchers, whose papers have been presented at AfRES conferences. Best papers should comply with aspects of quality, profoundness, innovation and relevance. The Best Paper Awards contain prize money of EUR 1,000 and a certificate. In the past there have been thre  award categories: Real Estate Investment, Sustainable Real Estate, and Real Estate Valuation.

The best paper on Real Estate Valuation is awarded in honour of Dr. Olawande Oni, an excellent researcher and a close friend of AfRES, who passed away in August 2014.

    All papers presented during the conference are considered for Best Paper Awards

    The decision on the best paper awards is made independently of the IREBS Foundation. The decision is made by the Academic Chair of the conference together with the anonymous reviewers of all papers.
